This blog is a collection of random programming, scripting and configuration notes by Sérgio Machado.
Sérgio Machado was born in Luanda and lives in Lisbon. He provides IT consulting services from development to system deployment and support.
He was passionate about computers and programming at a very early age and began is career with the C language.
Currently for programming tasks he works more with Java and scripting languages like Perl and PHP, depending on project requirements. Recently he’s been working as system/deployment engineer in the Telecommunication industries.
He enjoys traveling. So far he’s been to 4 continents: Africa (Angola, Morocco, Egypt), Europe (Portugal, Spain, Andorra, France, Belgium, Netherlands, England,Czech Republic), North America (USA – Virginia, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Missouri, New York, Wyoming, South Dakota) and Asia (China – Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Hong-Kong, Macau).
He also loves music (no particular genre) and sports!
